Lawrence Apu Rozario (FTII)

Lawrence is a Cinematographer who has filmed over 100 Television commercials both in 35 mm, 16 mm and HD formats. In his proficiency he has worked as a DOP for different national and international documentaries including The BBC World Trust. His expertise on 35 mm, 16 mm RED Epic Dragon, Arri Alexa, Black Magic, Sony F55, Sony F5 as well as on DSLR formats.

Lawrence has completed 4 feature films and 5 short films in 35mm and 16mm format. He shot the documentary, titled, “Change Your Name Ousama!” which was commissioned and broadcasted by OMNI TV. Currently, he is an associate member of the CSC (Canadian Society of Cinematographers). He also completed several feature documentaries for different national and international television channels. Lawrence received National and International awards such as, “Govt. of Bangladesh-National Film Award”, “Bangladesh Federation of Film Societies”, “Bombay Advertising Club” for best cinematography including awarded with Post Graduate Diploma Scholarship in Motion Picture Photography by the Government of India. After completion of his Diploma from the well reputed Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), he started his career with the Mumbai Film Industry and gradually became an Independent Cameraman. His passion to contribute to meaningful cinema produced in Canada exemplifies his knowledge and experience to excel beyond limits.
